Why standard fitted sheets often don't fit properly in a campervan
The sleeping areas in campervans are designed to save space. That is why the mattresses often differ significantly from rectangular standard sizes. Transverse beds can have slanted or rounded corners, longitudinal beds sometimes consist of several bed parts, and additional cushions close the gaps between the sleeping areas.
Conventional fitted sheets are intended for evenly rectangular mattresses. On special campervan beds they can therefore wrinkle, slip or be stretched too tight in places. Curves, cut-outs and different mattress widths are often not sufficiently taken into account by standard sizes.
Our fitted sheets and mattress protectors are made to match the stored measurements and contours of the respective campervan model. If your vehicle is already stored in the configurator, you usually do not need to measure anything yourself.
Solutions for different campervan bed shapes
Depending on the manufacturer, model and floor plan, different bed shapes are used in campervans. For the right choice, not only length and width are decisive, but also curves, slants, divisions and additional cushions.
Querbett
The Querbett is often located at the rear of the campervan. Due to the limited vehicle width, the mattresses can have rounded corners, side cut-outs or different contours.
Longitudinal single beds
Many larger campervans have two longitudinal single beds. The left and right mattresses can be shaped differently and can be joined into a larger sleeping area with a center section.
Single beds with center section
With Single beds with center section depending on the model, the two main mattresses, the center cushion and other bed extensions can be selected separately.
Hubbett
Some campervans have an additional Hubbett or a lowerable bed. Whether matching products are available depends on the specific manufacturer, model and model year.
Aufstelldachbett
In vehicles with a pop-up roof, there may be an additional sleeping space in the roof area. The availability of matching fitted sheets or mattress protectors depends on the stored vehicle model.
Umgebaute Sitzgruppe
Some seating areas can be converted into an additional sleeping area. This often consists of several individual cushions. Whether matching covers can be offered is checked for each model.

Depending on how you like to sleep, different qualities are available:
- 180 g/m²: angenehm leicht, flexibel und atmungsaktiv
- 240 g/m²: particularly dense, high-quality and hard-wearing
You can also choose between different colors and mattress heights.
Mattress protectors for campervans
A mattress protector protects the mattress from wear, dirt and – depending on the version – moisture.
- Jersey-PU: with moisture protection and a soft jersey surface
- Molton: absorbent, breathable and pleasantly soft

The 180 g/m² quality is lighter, flexible and breathable. The 240 g/m² quality is denser, particularly high-quality and hard-wearing. Which variant suits you better depends on how you like to sleep.
