Why standard fitted sheets often don't fit
Mattresses in motorhomes often differ significantly from rectangular standard mattresses. Single beds can be shaped differently on the left and right, drop-down bed and over-cab mattresses have model-specific contours, and many sleeping areas are extended with center sections or additional cushions.
Conventional fitted sheets are usually intended for evenly rectangular mattresses. On special motorhome mattresses they can therefore wrinkle, slip or be stretched too tight in places. Cut-outs, curves and slanted corners are often not sufficiently taken into account by standard sizes either.

Solutions for different motorhome bed shapes
Depending on the manufacturer, series and floor plan, different bed shapes are used in motorhomes. For the right choice, not only length and width are decisive, but also curves, slants, divisions and any additional cushions.
Einzelbetten
Viele Reisemobile besitzen zwei getrennte Einzelbetten. The left and right beds can differ in length, width and contour. Depending on the stored model, matching fitted sheets and mattress protectors are available for both sides.
Single beds with center section
Bei vielen Grundrissen lassen sich zwei single beds with a center cushion or a bed extension into a larger sleeping area. Depending on the model, the main mattresses and additional bed parts can be selected separately.
Hubbett
Drop-down beds are often located above the seating area or in the front of the vehicle. Their shape and mattress thickness vary depending on the manufacturer and floor plan. The vehicle selection shows you whether a matching drop-down bed is stored for your model.
Alkovenbett
Alkovenbetten are located above the driver's cab and can have straight, rounded or slanted contours. Matching fitted sheets take into account the shape stored for the respective model.
Queen bed
Queensbetten are usually accessible from several sides, but can still have model-specific curves or different widths. The matching version is selected via the specific vehicle model.
French bed
French beds are often slanted on one side or have an asymmetrical contour. A rectangular standard sheet usually does not sit evenly here.
Transverse bed and double bed
Continuous transverse or double beds at the rear can also have curves, cut-outs or different mattress thicknesses. That is why the specific model and model year are always decisive.
